About Chaya Aydel Seminary
Nestled in sunny Hallandale Beach, Florida, Chaya Aydel Seminary has been a cornerstone of Jewish education for over two decades. Established in 2002, our seminary offers post–high school girls a transformational year of deep Torah learning, spiritual growth, and meaningful community involvement — all within a warm, supportive, and Chassidic environment.
At Chaya Aydel, each student is seen, heard, and valued.
We empower young women to uncover their inner essence, build a joyful and lasting connection with Hashem, and gain the tools to live with purpose — not only for themselves, but for the generations they will impact.
“The seminary truly was my safe space. I always felt like I could be fully myself there. I felt like I was living my truth. And every day, I pray that Hashem sends me people and an environment like yours again.”
— Chaya Aydel Alumni

Our Core Values
The Foundation We Stand On
Personalized Education
We believe in nurturing each student's unique strengths, fostering an environment where personalized attention and tailored education empower them to reach their full potential, both spiritually and academically.
Connection & Community
Building strong, meaningful relationships is at the heart of our program. We cultivate a supportive community where students are encouraged to connect with themselves, their peers, the community, and Hashem.
Chassidishe Integrity
Rooted in the teachings of the Rebbe, we emphasize living a life of Torah and mitzvos with authenticity, pride, and joy, instilling in our students the values of Chassidus that will help guide them throughout their lives.

Our seminary is named in honor of Chaya Aydel Lebovics (née Tennenhaus), whose personal journey continues to inspire our mission.
As a high school graduating student, she wrote to the Lubavitcher Rebbe for guidance on whether she should attend seminary. With gentle direction, the Rebbe encouraged her to apply — a path she chose with confidence and always looked back on with deep appreciation.
Chaya Aydel went on to become a master educator who cared deeply for the education and needs of the younger generation. She was a woman ahead of her time in the way she understood students — their challenges, potential, and individuality. Her insight, compassion, and forward-thinking approach left a lasting impact on those she taught.
Her story is the foundation of what we strive to offer every student: an environment of clarity, strength, and joyful purpose
